Same-day flower delivery down Tampa Road to Ozona
Ozona is one of the closest waterfront neighborhoods to our shop. Tampa Road runs almost straight from US 19 to Orange Street, about 2.5 miles, so the drive is short and simple.
Order by 3:00 PM Eastern and we design your flowers in our Palm Harbor shop and deliver them the same day. If the occasion is later in the week, pick a scheduled delivery date instead. A short trip matters in Florida heat, because flowers that ride for a few minutes arrive fresher than ones packed in a box and shipped across the state. The same cutoff works whether you are sending to a cottage off Bay Street or an office on Orange Street.
Ozona's two ZIP codes and which one to use
Ozona has its own ZIP code, 34660, but it is used for post office boxes. Most homes in the village have Palm Harbor street addresses with the ZIP 34683.
For flower delivery, the street address is what counts. Enter the house number and street, for example a home on Bay Street or Lemon Street West, followed by Palm Harbor, FL 34683. If all you have is an Ozona PO box, ask the recipient or a relative for the street address before you order. We cannot leave flowers in a post office box, but with a clear house number we can find the right door in the village, even on the short lanes near the water.
Thank-you flowers for teachers and staff at Ozona Elementary
Ozona Elementary sits at 601 Tampa Road, a few blocks from Orange Street and right on the route from our shop. Teacher appreciation, the last day of school or a staff member's birthday are all good reasons to send something to the front office.
Schools usually ask deliveries to check in at the office, so that is where we take your order. Put the school name, the teacher's full name and the grade or room number in the order notes. A compact arrangement or a small plant fits a classroom desk better than a tall vase, and a gift basket works well when you want to thank a whole grade team at once.
Gift baskets and plants for Ozona's Old Florida homes
Many Ozona houses are older and well kept, with the look of Old Florida, set between the Pinellas Trail and St. Joseph Sound. Hurricane Helene sent water into parts of the village in 2024, and plenty of owners have spent time since then on repairs.
For a housewarming, a get-well wish or a note to a neighbor who helped after a storm, a gift basket or a potted plant can sit on the counter for weeks. We put together baskets and add-on gifts in our shop, so you can pair fresh flowers with something to enjoy later. A plant is also a practical pick for a friend who is busy with repairs and has no time to change vase water.

Ozona's village roots
Ozona's first recorded homestead belonged to Walton Whitehurst in 1875. Early families here made their living from fishing and citrus, and street names like Orange, Lemon and Lime fit that history.
Before the village took the name Ozona, its first post office was commissioned under the name Bay St. Joseph. Early settler J.C. Craver, who built the first Ozona school, is often called the father of both Ozona and Palm Harbor.
In 1895 Dr. Susan K. Whitford and other local women formed the Ozona Ladies Improvement Society and raised money for a village hall with bake sales, ice cream socials and seafood dinners. The hall has served as a library, polling place, church and dance hall, and Pinellas County named it a Historic Local Landmark in 2015.
Hurricane Helene pushed about three feet of water into the Village Hall in September 2024. The Ozona Village Improvement Society has been raising money to repair the building and lift it above future floods.
